Terms of Service

1. Service

TaxBox ("we", "us") provides a service that scans your Gmail account to find invoices and receipts and packages them into accountant-ready ZIP archives. You must have a valid TaxBox Pro subscription to use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to grant TaxBox access to the Gmail account you connect.

3. Subscription and billing

TaxBox Pro is billed at $12/month via PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account. No refunds for partial months.

4. Gmail access

You grant TaxBox permission to read your Gmail messages for the purpose of finding financial documents. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings.

5. Accuracy

TaxBox uses AI to classify emails. Classification is not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing exported files before sending them to your accountant. TaxBox is not a tax advisor.

6. Limitation of liability

TaxBox is provided "as is." We are not liable for missed documents, incorrect classifications, or any damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if your subscription lapses.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
